odd, uncomfortable, intimate, lots of audience interaction. John is possibly Pee Wee Herman and Andy Kauffman's bastard son. In a good way. From anal sex with chairs to group hugs, this show is full of surprises...

A fun, novel mishmash which was entertaining in its quirkiness and fun because of the audience participation.
Really different.

I always love the clown shows the most and this one did not disappoint. FABULOUS silliness! Non-stop surprises. John Leo really connects with the audience. It's hard to tell what is planned or waht is improvised. My cup of tea.

Genius! Unexpected! Unique! This is the breath of fresh air every fringe needs. You can't help but wonder if you're in the presence of Andy Kaufman, whether Andy has come back as the clown or his dog has yet to be determined.

Silly and smart. Fabulous and flatulent. Li'l buoy has an unnatural relationship with luggage.

"Numbers Up" made me look at my watch and wonder about the lack of wisdom in my choice of a show for the evening and ask the people near me when the thing would be over.As a European in Boulder I did not get the conceptual, theatrical, or simply put, entertainment value of such a show.Showing anal intercourse with a chair amidst an already poorly conceived play, did not appear to me as any daring or creative statement but as a sheer proof of bad taste that made simply things worse. I smiled the whole show so consequently my face hurt afterwards, which is always so nice. I love the dog. The whole show is totally honest and charming and hilarious.

good use of pauses, fun & unpredictable audience involvement. I'm not a big clown fan, but this was quirky enough to be endearing. But don't bring young kids unless you want to be explaining why clown has sex with chair.

Hysterical. Loved it. My only disappointment is that there are no more shows, so that I can't tell people to go see it!

Stars get thrown at so much of The Fringe it's begun to feel like Pin the Prize on The Donkey with the largest box office. NO ONE in this Fringe was loved more dearly by THE ARTIST'S at John Leo's supposedly SOLD OUT shows. To us, sadly, his genius became our best kept secret. Rating a luminous star of his stature is beneath the enormity of his gift.
