The Secret Lives of the Divine
Written by Sarah Syverson
From a spiritual course junkie who never quite makes the Enlightenment Train to a hip-hopping Indian Guru working part-time at Qwest in order to pay the ashram bills - take a ride on the wild side of the Divine and come up laughing, crying, and begging for more (confessional booth available for small fee). One woman, a dozen different characters, and unreasonable Divine Intervention is in your charts when you come to this show. Don't miss your opportunity for spiritual guidance from a quirky, irrational, atheist-loving Universe dressed in a blue polyester pants suit and Bionic Man goggles.
Sarah has you from the moment she hits the stage. Buy your tickets now and you're guaranteed to reach Enlightenment by the end of the show or your money back (Rules and restrictions may apply. See non-existent website for more information.)

A really really remarkable show. Its absurdly funny and captivating but has very serious and though provoking undertones. Well worth checking out.

Amazing! I laughed. I cried. I loved it. Better than cats! Better than E.T. — My review is cliche, but the show is anything but. Hilarious, well written, well performed, insightful and entertaining, real art. Its truly art worth experiencing. Thank you, Sarah, for sharing!

This is one top notch show. The balance of zany characters and the clever interconnectedness of the parts was well conceived and wonderful to see. The acting was engaging and transitions were smooth. Great show! Dont miss it.

The promo signs read either hilarious or hilarity and I can assure you that this show wasnt either. Its a decent show but the LOL moments are very few and far between. Poor promo on what the show really is. The performer also tries to do some physical comedy as an old Yenta doing yoga. It doesnt work. She does do a great piece on Qwest customer service though which was towards the end and skewed the impression towards the favorable. BUT if you are looking for funny, you are better off seeing The

This is a very good show that stretches the emotions from laughter to compassion. Using multiple acts to stitch together a common theme and characters wasnt apparent during the initial acts, but that technique jelled the whole show. As a Geek, the Spirit of Service number was particularly funny. Sarahs show provoked several days worth of conversations...good job.

Fantabulous! Extraordinarily creative, outrageously funny, clearly experience-based celebration/satire of multiple paths to enlightenment, and all this from a solo actress/writer--Wow!

A somewhat uneven set of sketches. Some characters repeat, without real evolution. Some sketches are fun, but nothing was anywhere near ROTFL. Didnt really think I saw any secret lives, but some insights into divine were entertaining. A good enough, enjoyable show. But I wouldnt classify as must see.
