Whats up with the lame ratings? Everyone I saw in the packed house tonight was laughing their asses off. This is a great, energetic, incredibly entertaining show... definitely a must-see!

What a great show! Sometimes people want to just laugh, especially in times like this. Instead of leaving wondering why I spent money on somones self-masturbatory opus, I left laughing and humming the songs. I want to see other paths and I really feel that these folks, and their director, are making a 50 minute respite from all the other crap. This show was funny, tight, and imaginative! Hilarious and edgy!

Whether I a qualified to write about how these other reveiws are wrong or not, I feel I should say that You dont know what funny and simple and imaginative is! This show is really fun and we need that right now. Plus with an oversold house last night, I am not alone in this opinion. My only criticism: it should be longer!

What a fabulous show! Beyond being just funny and imaginative it was a truly original comedic theatre adventure. What a cast! Plo and the mermaid were extremely engaging and hilarious in their various roles/cameos. Was very surprised to have a loud rock band open the show, not many small productions would have the balls to do that, let alone have original songs. The band constantly set the mood and kept the story moving along and were stellar musicians.

Saw two shows, different paths...funny, smart, good music, adroit, capable of taking the audience along for the ride even in deep space on stools! Bravo! What good summer theater should be. I cant give it enough stars!

me thinks a bit of jealousy for 1 star nonreviews, smells of pretentions--could you not read the title first and then decide to head for one of the dreads playing all over? obvously they didnt come to play along, and I know I need all the play time I can get...and another thing why would you put your pretentions onto a fun summer night. we loved you! In town for weekend caught your show. So creative and funny! Loved Octopus and Mermaid, chances to start over, Drinking song and all the music, artful narrative and scenes and resecening!! Most fun Ive had for 10 bucks in along time...but, could be longer...could use the laugh time!

It was awesome! The band was great, the actors were funny. The narrator has a great singing voice. Its so cool that each time the audience picks a path the actors jump right in with the new scene. My only regret is not being able to see it more than once to check out all the different paths.

Pick your own Path was so much more fun than your run-of-the-mill play! I loved that the audience was the center of attention, something that Ive not often seen in the theatre world. Great job, 5th Circle!

Just found out you could do this. went Sat night the place was packed and the evening was wonderful! Im not a theater person but came away wanting more! Probably because it was fun and fast paced and included the audience. I am mistifed by how fast the actors could change direction. I loved the narrator and You squabble and the music. This show was totally avant garde. Laughs were the goal and success was theirs! Highly reccommend taking a night to see this adult version of a book series we all remember. LOVED IT!!!

This is not a very serious show at all. If youd like some insights on the human condition, look elsewhere. If youd like subtle humor, deep humor, or even lots of humor, look elsewhere. The show looked like a lot of fun to put on and be in, though! The folks involved should keep at it- you only get bettter by practicing, and this looks like a fun way to practice.

Wow! I jumped on to say nice work, nice to see a little fun in the middle of these difficult times. But now I want to defend this show, and its creators, and cast from the untoward words of those who dont know what funny is. Jesus! Not every show can be, or should be, a delving into the human psyche.

Wow! I am still giggling! I saw the show last night, and I too want to say: If pretentious theatre is your melieu you will hate this. But it obviously stems from Fin de Siecle theatre of the absurd and crazy, the theatre of Baudelaire, of Picasso, of Rimbaud. Stick that up your pretentious seat. Relax, this was obviously for the people!
