Dreaming Machine performances are approached through improvisation with instruments played from all over the world along with bamboo, marbles and an occasional industrial drill-bit, and more. The audience will experience Chinese hillbilly swing, twisted spirituals, maybe a cover by Townes Van Zandt or Tony Bennett, and subtle, and sometimes not so subtle, musical performance art. "...Bauer and Swenson also deconstructed 'Amazing Grace' with harp, marbles and metal kitchen shelving, turning in one of the creepiest renditions ever. Gentle insanity, indeed."
