Past (and Current) Fringe Artist's Newest Projects:

Theatre 13 (Fringe 2005 - Underwoman, 2006 - Liz's Strategy) is presenting once upon a time: The End, by by Kjersti Ingela Webb and Bethany Jean Urban. The play features performances by Webb and Urban in an actress-created production culled from a mixture of theatrical clown and Le Coq-based physical theatre. Theatre13 founding member Webb and guest artist Urban explore the worlds of travel, transition and transformation. The result is a hilarious look at one woman's often hapless attempts to find a happy ending in an increasingly mechanized and impersonal world where happy endings need to be perfect-from the perfect cup of coffee to the perfect handsome prince.

fivefour/Cortney McGuire & Leah Nelson (Fringe 2007 - my space is sometimes yours) is presenting everybody's different as part of Joyce SoHo Presents. Raw, goofy and vulnerable, fivefour creates from an honest, instinctual place. Their unique movement vocabulary is danced with an abandoned energy that is tenderly wrought and magically controlled. "everybody's different" takes the audience on a ride through laughter, compassion, frustration, and relief. The work explores those instances of awkwardness that individuals uncover trying to relate to one another while retaining some semblance of self.
