SELECTIONS FOR PICK OF THE FRINGE 2006

This year’s Pick of the Fringe selections were determined by a combination of ratings by an expert panel and online audience ratings. This year’s “Pick” expert panel consisted of:

Alison Moore (Boulder County Arts Alliance)
Ami Dayan (Maya Productions)
Gloria Shanstrom (Colorado Theater Guild)
Joan Markowitz (Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art)
Mark Collins (Daily Camera)
Robin Beeck (Boulder International Film Festival)
Sandy Sherman (Motion Underground)
Sean Mackey (The Laughing Goat)

The selections below were incredibly difficult for the panel to make, as there was such an abundance of remarkable quality and talent in this year’s festival. They are what were felt to be the “Fringiest” shows that simply must be seen by as many people as possible.

NOTE: Not everyone who was picked will be presenting their work in the Pick of the Fringe event at the Dairy on September 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Based on availability of space and artists, a program of shows has been created. Please see the Pick of the Fringe! 2006 Performance Schedule above.
