Dear Fringe Enthusiast,
The Fringe-Likers Guide
to the Galaxy

Fringing is sort of like being sucked into another galaxy.  Be ready for just about anything - and don't forget your towel (or your program in this case) because it will be your only portal home.

Here are some otherworldly tips to turn you into an expert Fringe traveler:
Eddy interviewing the cast of The Three Sisters

1.      Whether you're a performer or an attendee, the Daily C.R.A.B is one of the best ways to get the word out about a show & to learn about what you'd like to see.

2.      Go to Boulderfringe.com & review your favorite shows.  While you're there, read what others have to say.
3.      Check out the Workshops.  There are world-class opportunities at your fingertips with the workshops, and in some cases, one-of-a kind events.
4.      Pick up a multiple show punch pass.  You'll save money & travel between planets much more quickly.
5.      Make a schedule for yourself, so you don't miss out on what you want to see.  Be sure to schedule-in special events.
6.      And for heaven's sake, don't be afraid to talk to the guy on the corner wearing lederhosen & goggles; he's passing through just like you.
7.      DON'T PANIC! There's still a week to see all of the shows you want to see!

Gemma Wilcox and Sam Elmore in 52 Pick Up

None of us want the festival to go by too fast; we all want it to last like a good piece of gum.  But tomorrow is Fast Forward Fringe - a wonderful evening of independent cinema, with  short films and a new independent full-length feature.  Hosted by Pierre Jean-Pierre of Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, it will be a tasty treat for the senses. And tomorrow's weather looks to be Boulder-Perfect, so you'll enjoy lounging at the Boulder Outdoor Cinema for this one.  Bring blankets, chairs and picnic wares.  And ho-hos, since you'll be with nature.  While you're at it, maybe pass one to the onsite Fringe Photographer - she probably hasn't eaten for days.  But please don't feed the squirrels.

Don't forget your Fringe mementos!

This year's t-shirts and bags are a hit and are selling at the speed of light.  Pick one up at the Dairy box office or the Laughing Goat.

Treat yourself, you deserve it.

Eddy wants to know...

FRINGE TRIVIA QUESTION:
What year and where did the first ever Fringe Festival take place?

Bring your answer to tonight's Daily C.R.A.B. with Eddy the Eskimo at Fringe Central - A.K.A. the Laughing Goat Coffee House at 10:00 PM (it's free!) (it's fun!) (it's absurd!) (you haven't really been to Boulder Fringe until you've been to C.R.A.B!)

P.S. Tonight's C.R.A.B. will also feature interviews with:
One Continuous Mistake
The Illuminated Theatre
Melissa McNamara
