Dear Fringe Enthusiast,
|
Howdy Fringe franatics, and welcome to Day 4 of the festival! Word has it y'all are "enjoying the heck out of the shows". And who wouldn't? What with all this talent, and such a great lineup of special events (poetry, fashion, movies, oh my!). And then there's always your nutritious yet delicious daily serving of C.R.A.B at the Laughing Goat.

Last night's C.R.A.B was served hot, with a side of sauce. We had a surprise appearance by the (not-so-notorious) Fortunado Brothers, who graciously (if not spacily) stood in for our own Eddie the Eskimo. Eddie was a little late, after being called to aid in the resuscitation of a locally beached whale. Finally, after some lively artist interviews, the audience was moved (quite literally) from Laughing Goat to Trilogy by way of a funky, frenzied Fringe Parade. (yawwwn. just another dull day at Boulder Fringe).

Program Correction: Please note that all events scheduled to be held at the Boulder Co-op will now be held at the Myriad Gallery, located at 1129 Pearl Street in Boulder.
Program Retraction: Although musicians Mark & Dave Darling were incorrectly described as a GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transsexual) performance in the Fringe program, they have decided to take this opportunity to publicly support their guitar and drums as, respectively, lesbian & transgender instruments.
Happy audience members at a Fringe show.
