Fringe LInks

Dear Fringe Enthusiast,

 Ah, so we
meet again.

Clearly
we share the same taste
in quality entertainment.

Jimmy Hogg performing A Brief History of Petty Crime

Here we are, at Day 7 of Fringe and the festival is really heating up, so don't wait to buy your tickets until the last minute.  Now that the word is out, shows are filling up fast.

And remember to rate your favorite shows online
at boulderfringe.com.  Don't make me say it again.
I don't want to have to turn this festival around and
take you all home.

One great way to keep up with all of the action is to make a list of all the shows you'd like to see, and make sure they all fit into your calendar for the next 6 days.  That way you won't find yourself at the end of the Festival, wishing you'd been able to see more.  (hint:  try to save some room, in case there's a show you'd like to see a second time - and there always is!)

Bring back your favorite performers for the - always free - "Best of C.R.A.B" on Saturday, Aug 23rd, by voting for your favorite Eddy interview tomorrow (Thursday) at C.R.A.B.

Jason Ballweber, Matt Spring, Paul Hutcheson and Gemma Wilcox
promote their shows to audience members as they pass through

Also tomorrow, experience Ruth Zaporah's movement & body workshop called "A Splendid Moment".  Participants will learn to share from embodied and imaginative resources while experiencing a fresh view of self.  This workshop will take place on Thursday, August 21st at 2:30pm at the Dairy Performance Space.

Fringe Encore! 2008 is coming up this Sunday & you can buy tickets for each Encore show on our website now.  For those of you who aren't familiar, the show that sells the most tickets in each venue will be given the opportunity to perform a special Encore show on Sunday, August 24th.  The winners will be announced at the Daily C.R.A.B on Saturday night & in this newsletter on Sunday morning.

When you have a sec, check out the "Memories of Fringe" coffee table photo book, located on the t-shirt table at The Dairy. It's a great memento to tide you over until the next festival (and an excellent conversation piece!) Just fill out your contact information on the sign-up sheet, and Jodee will get back to you for your order.

Now, be good and go Fringe.  Or at least go Fringe.

Eddy wants to know...
FRINGE TRIVIA QUESTION:
2 Part question (because you're getting smarter):
1.  How many shows are there scheduled at the 2008 Boulder International Fringe Festival?
2.  How many shows have an animal in the title?

Bring your answer to tonight's Daily C.R.A.B. with Eddy the Eskimo at Fringe Central - A.K.A. the Laughing Goat Coffee House at 10:00 PM (it's free!) (it's fun!) (it's absurd!) (you haven't really been to Boulder Fringe until you've been to C.R.A.B!)

P.S. Tonight's C.R.A.B. will also feature interviews with:
Theater 13 presents, Boulder CO, "Olive"
The Ruling Thumb Theater Company, Lyons Colorado, "Cleave"
Kath Burlinson, London, England UK "The Mother's Bone's"
The Octopus League, Boulder CO, "God's"
