Fringe LInks

Dear Fringe Enthusiast,

Ahhhh Fringe... like Paris in the springtime, a fragrant whiff of a fine wine. like the last day of school, and the first day of camp; it's always sunny at the fringe, so your socks are never damp. (ode to Fringe... a work in progress).

The last thing anyone wants to think about right now is Fringe coming to an end, and since it's only halfway over - we don't have to.  But it can't hurt to plan ahead for Fringe Encore this Sunday evening, where the best selling show from each venue will be given the opportunity to give one extra
performance.  Showtimes will vary according to the venue  (see pg 17 of your printed program for more information or click here).

Speaking of planning ahead, another great way to keep up is to make a list of all of the shows you'd like to see, and make sure they all fit into your calendar for the next 6 days. That way you won't find yourself at the end of the festival, wishing you'd been able to see more...

...and, let's face it, we all want more.  And that's okay. Like Eddy the Eskimo said at last night's C.R.A.B (when he was confronted with an intervention for his Fringe addiction):  "Fringe is not a problem, it's not an addiction - it's a way of life.  It's beautiful;  I love going to see elephants!"  I couldn't have said it better myself... not even in an Eskimo jacket & tropical shorts.

QUESTION: Suzanne Willett's one woman show, "The Feminazi" invites audiences to "search for sexist pigs."

1. How do pigs become sexist?

2. What can we do to help them?

Answer the question at tonight's Daily C.R.A.B. with Eddy the Eskimo at Fringe Central (A.K.A. the Laughing Goat Coffee House) at 10:00 PM (it's free!) for fun prizes.

P.S. Tonight's C.R.A.B. will also feature interviews with
Octopus League of "
Nighty Knight, Manny Panny"
lalaland of "
woManish"
Johanna Walker of "
Anatomy of a Yell"
