Dear Boulder International Fringe,

Good day you Barons of Boulder,
you Frolickers of Fringe.

As we enter into this, the final weekend of the Boulder Fringe,

                                     Lee Michael Buckman performing BAGS

let us remember what lies ahead; remember
that we are, collectively, like squirrels storing up inspiration for winter. And it may be cold - bitter cold, friends, - before we meet again.

So gather those acorns well, my squirrels (symbolic)
pause not long for repast (gastronomic)
fringe like the wind in August (metaphoric)
make your festive moments last (cheery poetic).

We're coming up on the final 2
workshops of the festival.

If you haven't participated yet, here's your chance:  There are world-class opportunities at
your fingertips with Fringe Workshops, and in some cases, one-of-a kind events.
Mark Whitney performing Fool for a Client

Experience Ruth Zaporah's movement & body workshop; "A Splendid Moment".  Learn to share from embodied and imaginative resources while experiencing a fresh view of self (runs through Sun  at Dairy Perf Space).

Elizabeth Baron is offering "Sublime Stupidity", a workshop designed to turn what is "uniquely and inherently stupid" about each of us into gateways into a profound and funny performance (runs through Sunday at Naropa Lincoln Studio).

Don't forget to pick up tickets to FRINGE ENCORE!, taking place on Sunday evening, when the best-selling artist from each venue gives a final performance.  Results given on Saturday night at C.R.A.B. or Sunday morning in this newsletter.

Bring your answer to tonight's Daily C.R.A.B. with Eddy the Eskimo at Fringe Central - A.K.A. the Laughing Goat Coffee House at 10:00 PM (it's free!) (it's fun!) (it's absurd!) (you haven't really been to Boulder Fringe until you've been to C.R.A.B!)

P.S. Tonight's C.R.A.B. will also feature interviews with:
Laurie Lynch, Boulder Colorado, "In Mocking Disregard:The Burlesque Extravaganza"
Nicoll + Oreck Dance Theater, Brooklyn, NY, "They Might Be Napping"
