Dear Fringe Enthusiast,

"Theatre is not and should not be a literary form of expression. A theatrical celebration can take place anywhere: out of doors, in a garage, in a stable." - Jerome Savary

hmmm... maybe we should table the stable idea until next year?

Final Weekend!
It's Friday, and we're ramping up for a terrific weekend of Fringe! As you hit this final stretch of the festival, be sure to buy your tickets and your merchandise before one or the other sells-out.  The colorful, high-quality Fringe t-shirts (only $20) and canvas tote bag (reduced to $12!) are great mementos of this year's festivities!  Fringe merchanidise is available at Fringe Central or at the Dairy Center.

Tote Bag
Get your 2007 Fringe tote before they're all gone!

Your 3 seconds of fame!
Can you describe the 2007 festival in a few crazy words? Give it a try, and help showcase the first annual Prose From the Shows opus! All we need from you are 3 to 5 words (not necessarily in a sentence), which most colorfully describe your experience at the Boulder Fringe Festival this summer.  This collaboration will be combined into one medley and read aloud - with gusto (and printed in the final newsletter).  Like Fringe itself, there are no rules for this project (hint: aim for dramatically, rather than grammatically correct). Email your 3-5 word collage to:
jodfield@comcast.net, or just drop it off at the Laughing Goat box office by Saturday night at 11:00pm.  Thanks for joining in!

Take a workshop!
There are still plenty of great workshops to check out this weekend.  The Daily C.A.T.- performing short compositions drawn from the backgrounds of the various attending artists.  Plasticenics - a creative technique empowering performers to respond beyond the traditional interpretive process. the living room project - teaching the basic principles of musical improvisation and deep listening.  Improvise...THIS! - exploring the art of improvisational comedy and storytelling.  The Psychic Dance Body - combining
elements of Butoh & Contact Improvisation to create more energy in the body.
For more information on these workshops, see pages 27 & 28 of your printed program, or
