C.R.A.B. happens the third Thursday of every month at The Laughing Goat Coffee House.

C.R.A.B. (which is an acronym for Constantly Risking Absurdity, Baby; from the poem by Lawrence Ferlinghetti) provides a much-needed forum for local artists to present new work, promote upcoming shows and events, and network in a context in which unique, high quality work is the order of the day.

Past (and Current) Fringe Artist's Newest Projects:

Theatre 13 (Fringe 2005 - Underwoman, 2006 - Liz's Strategy) is presenting My Life is My Sun Dance, written by imprisoned human rights activist Leonard Peltier. Mr. Peltier was convicted of the murder of two F.B.I. agents on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in 1977. He is currently serving two consecutive life sentences though many believe him to have been wrongly convicted. He is commonly referred to as "The Native American Nelson Mandela".

Ami Dayan (Fringe 2005 - The Man Himself) and Avenue Theater in Denver is presenting a weekend of workshop performances of Ami's latest solo show, Conviction, written by Oren Neeman, directed by Michael French and performed by Ami Dayan. Conviction is the story of a beautiful love affair doomed by religious persecution in Inquisition Spain.
