Past (and Current) Fringe Artist's Newest Projects:

Maya Productions (Fringe 2005 - The Man Himself)
presents a staged reading of Masked, written by Ilan Hatsor.

Performed by Alana Eve Burman (Festival Director, Boulder Fringe & Fringe 2005 - Gamelan Tunas Mekar) , AmI Dayan (Fringe 2005 - The Man Himself), Brendan Sheehan and Tyler Ryan (Fringe 2005 - Beautiful Day, Fringe 2006 - Feather). An explosive account of a Palestinian family tragedy, Masked tackles the cultural divide at the heart of the Middle East blood conflict. Masked describes the dilemma of three Palestinian brothers during the first Intifada as they wrestle with conflicts between duty, family, survival and principles. The play is a brave attempt by an Israeli playwright to depict the point of view of the "other" side. Set in the back of a butcher shop somewhere in a West Bank village between sunset and sunrise, Masked examines the high drama of an internal family judgment day. The reading lasts 75 minutes and will be followed by a brief discussion.

Show Dates and Times: Thursday, May 24th at 7PM

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of a member of our Fringe Community. Scott Dominion, a performer and comedian, who appeared as Captain Jack in Pirates aRrrrrgh Us' production of "Pirates in Corsets or PMS Pinafore" in last year's Fringe was tragically killed when he was struck by a vehicle on his bicycle while in Florida only a few days ago. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and close friends. He will be greatly missed.
